The Polish company, DARTIMEX, is an international heavyweight in road transportation. They have gotten solar cells installed on their first two semi-trailer trucks
For almost 30 years, Dartimex sp. Zoo from Siedlce, Poland, has been a strong competitor in the transport business. Specialising in international road transport and operating in seven European countries, the company’s fleet of 30 state-of-the-art Mercedes Benz and DAF semi-trailer trucks goes a long way. The driver’s comfort as well as operational reliability are highly important. Both are improved with the installation of the first set of solar cells from Green Energy/MIPV.pro on two DAF semi-trailer trucks.
Development and modern technology put them in the lead
To expand and maintain a leading position in one’s field requires constant development and the desire to take advantage of the newest technologies. At DARTIMEX the whole fleet is top-class. All trucks meet the requirements of the EURO 5 and EURO 6 emission standards and are also equipped with GPS, which enables real-time surveillance for all transports. The installation of flexible solar cells from Green Energy/MIPV.pro is in line with the company’s aspiration for high-quality performance for both employees and clients.
The road towards carbon neutrality and operational reliability
Polish employee, Bartek Jankowski from Green Energy/MIPV.pro has assisted in installing the new 110Wp solar panel sets and regarding the question of why these solar cells were chosen, CEO Tomasz says “the goal is to reduce carbon emissions, save fuel and prolong battery lifespan. At the same time, the company will provide better comfort for our drivers. Noise from an idle engine keeping the battery running is no longer an inconvenience. When testing is over, our plan is definitely to install more sets.
We congratulate DARTIMEX on the new installations.
