As one of the ground pillars at Green Energy/MIPV.pro, Ruth Lauritzen keeps the books in order in the rapidly growing company
When Ruth Lauritzen was enjoying her retirement in Gedved in 2020, nobody had imagined that the retired Chief Accountant was going to reignite her career. After quite some convincing from CEO Karl Andreassen, she once again put on her work clothes. On August 20th, she will be celebrating her 3-year anniversary as a bookkeeperwith us. The valued employee also celebrated her 78th birthday last week.
Retiring didn’t mean stopping working
After a long career as Chief Accountant, Ruth Lauritzen retired in 2000 after nearly 30 years. This didn’t mean goodbye to spreadsheets and bookkeeping. The hardworking woman continued to keep her skills top-tuned by accounting for various voluntary associations. This work led her to our company.

A trio has grown into an orchestra
When the experienced woman entered the office in Vejle on her first day, she became a part of a trio with both visions and plans. The trip from Gedved to Niels Bohrs Vej in Vejle became routine every Monday. The workload increased quickly as the number of employees grew. Today, Ruth Lauritzen is in charge of keeping the books in the rapidly growing business with employees and collaborations worldwide. Ruth describes it herself:
“My contract states that I am to be dismissed when I’m 90, but I don’t think I would want to be working that long. But the plan is to keep at it until I’m 80. Going to the office every Monday and feeling the energy is very giving. I enjoy it a lot.”
We congratulate Ruth Lauritzen on her anniversary as well as her birthday and look forward to many good years ahead.
