Green Energy Group, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Martin Thaysen as its CEO as of 1 March 2024

Vejle, February 29, 2024: Green Energy the global leader within mobile and flexible solar solutions welcomes Martin Thaysen.

Martin, an accomplished and visionary leader with a track record of building businesses and teams, brings a wealth of experience to the next stage of the Green Energy growth journey.

From Maersk to Green Energy Group

Martin is an internationally experienced CEO, CCO and Board Member within supply chain, logistics, shipping, manufacturing and managed professional services. He has held roles in publicly listed and privately held companies, including as Group CEO for the Santa Fe Group, a 17-year career with A.P. Møller-Maersk and leading CEVA Logistics’ activities in Greater China. His most recent role was as Chief Commercial Officer for Controlant, a supply chain technology scale-up, where he built the commercial team and led strategy development with rapid revenue growth in the business.

Throughout his career, Martin has focused on building and transforming businesses with a focus on delivering real value to customers through exceptional customer experience, leveraging digitalisation, building talented teams and driving sustainability as an integral part of the agenda. Martin has worked with multiple projects focusing on sustainable energy, reducing waste and carbon emissions, building knowledge to enact green transformations that address climate challenges. Martin holds an MBA from IMD in Switzerland, and lives outside Copenhagen, with his wife, two sons and dog.

Entering the next era
