How does a solar panel set work?


The CIGS solar panels are designed to capture sunlight and convert it into electricity efficiently. Unlike some other types of solar panels that may struggle in cloudy weather, CIGS panels are remarkably resilient and can continue to generate electricity even when the sky is overcast. This is because CIGS technology is highly adept at absorbing sunlight across a broad spectrum of light wavelengths, including those present in diffuse or indirect sunlight on cloudy days.

When sunlight hits the solar cells, it is converted into electricity, which charges a battery. The larger the solar installation, the more electricity it produces. The battery is used to store the electricity produced by the solar panels so that it can be used when the sun is not shining or at night. This means that even when the sun is not available, you can still benefit from the green energy you have accumulated and continue to provide your electronic devices with environmentally friendly power.

To fully utilize the stored power accumulated by the solar panels in the battery, it’s essential to connect an inverter to the system. The inverter plays a crucial role in converting the direct current (DC) electricity produced by the solar panels and stored in the battery into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is the standard form of electricity used in most household appliances and electrical devices.

Once the solar panel solution is installed, the green power is ready for use. You no longer need to worry about whether the starter battery has enough power. With a fully charged consumption battery, you can enjoy comfort and charge various electronic devices. This includes powering appliances, lighting, and other electrical devices directly with solar energy stored in the battery. By using only about 3% of the total amount of material used by traditional crystalline solar panels, CIGS solar cells can significantly reduce overall resource consumption.
