Almost 100 years of experience is behind the business Roland Arnold Transport. The wish has always been to deliver the best service within the two fields: transport and fuel trade. Now the company steps into the rapidly growing “family” of businesses that have chosen to install solar cells from Green Energy/MIPV.pro on their fleet. A solid success story built on experience and know-how
Based in Dresden, where the company was founded in 1929 by Karl Arnold, the 25 employees ensure safe delivery on time. Whether it is fuel transport, construction material, or bulk material, planning is important, and the freight management of the company guarantees a safe and smooth delivery.
The fleet of 24 trucks gets around in the entire Dresden area. “The extensive experience of our employees and the broad range of know-how is part of creating our success,” says the CEO Jörg Arnold. The wish for constant development has led to the company installing the first set of solar panels on one of the company’s semi-trailer trucks.
Green plan, green future
It is Gerd-Michael Röper from Green Energy/MIPV.pro, who has been a part of installing this 110Wp solar panel kit on one of the company’s 2019 Scania R540. Regarding the company’s choice to install solar panels, Jörg Arnold explains: “We have the wish to achieve fuel savings and minimize our CO2 emissions. We heard about the solar cells from Green Energy/MIPV.pro through EUROPART, Radeburg, and knew that the product is high-efficient, so the choice was easy. The plan is also to install solar cells on more vehicles from our fleet,” Jörg Arnold concludes.
