TradeLog transports packaging material for national and international customers. Now they have decided to have solar panels installed in their fleet
TradeLog, which works with shipping and transportation of packaging materials, has since 2007 worked towards offering personal and direct contact to their customers. The company maintains a great attention to sustainable developments. This has now led to the installation of solar panels onto the roof of one of their tractor units.
Focus on technology and optimization
From the headquarters in Kecskemèt in southeast Hungary and the company’s two other locations, the company works to deliver the best transport solution for their customers every day. With the use of the most modern technologies in every part of their business, from their website to their way of controlling and tracking shipments in their fleet of 35 young tractor units, TradeLog’s customers are in the best of hands. It is of great importance for the company to maintain a personal and direct contact with their customer, which helps optimize their operations.

New cooperation creates green solutions in many different directions
Due to the company’s international transport assignments, there is a lot to be saved by installing solar panels on their tractor units. Life data from other companies have shown yearly savings on more than 500 liters of fuel on each tractor unit that is used for long-haul trucking – just as TradeLog does.
After the installation of a 165Wp solar panel set onto one of the company’s Scania – 460 R from 2022, TradeLog was certified as an official installation partner for EUROPART by Green Energy/MIPV.pro solar panels.
As a part of the installation and certification the service manager at TradeLog, Norbert Nagy, says: ”We heard about the products through our collaborators EUROPART. As a business, we would like to optimize our fleet as much as possible. With the installation of solar panels on the roof of our fleet, we ensure fuel saving, increased reliability, a longer-lasting battery, and we take a large step toward being carbon neutral. A big goal of ours. We plan to install solar panels on our entire fleet of 35 tractor units. Now being a certified installation partner it makes it easy for us to do it ourselves, while also being able to offer the same solution to other companies” Norbert Nagy concludes.
We congratulate TradeLog on its certification and first installation.
